On Tuesday December 29 was conducted on the premises of Meeting People for Victory Rivadavia 1220 the first meeting of the National Community Involvement Plan.
The Day was designed to reflect with different social and political actors in the south of the City on a proposal issued by the Ministry of Security who heads Nilda Garre. The plan is to open tables in the different districts (which would pilot this year) of the participating regional organizations where we can discuss and implement policies regarding security.
Prevents Movement Eduardo Binstock said in his statement that security "Is a vindication of the neighbors that it is installed and we have the need for a cultural battle about it."
Marta Arriola Ministry of Security, who coordinates the plan, stressed that "there is a strong commitment to popular participation in safety."
Also present were the City lawmaker Silvina Pedreira, Sebastian Demiryi Prevents Movement of Capital Federal, Daniel Maguire of the Department of Homeland Security and also representatives of various social organizations in the City.
