1. THE CATEGORIES:

  • Cartoon / Humor
  • Interview
  • Table Analysis / Debate
  • Guidance and Service to Society
  • Scientific and Cultural Dissemination
  • Transparency and Access to Information *
    (* This category includes any journalistic genre. The work nominated must have been developed based on a request for information from any regulatory body access to information and transparency.

2. PARTICIPATION:

Applications should be submitted by the authors of the papers or media in which they reported. May also submit nominations of renowned professional institutions, academic or social. Understood in all cases that (the) assumption (s) is (are) the author (s) (s) of work presented.

Contestants can enter a maximum three categories and one job for every one of them.

3. JURY AND THE SCORE:

The jury will comprise persons of recognized standing in the field, selected by the CCPNP, and its decision is final.

4. RESULTS:

will be disclosed on Tuesday May 11, 2010.

The award ceremony will take place in Mexico City in May 2010 (venue and date tbc).

5. AWARDS:

work will be awarded in each category. Each prize consists of a specially designed sculpture by Juan Soriano, diploma, and $ 50,000.00 mn (fifty thousand pesos). The prizes are indivisible and can only be claimed during the Awards Ceremony.
